Good evening po. I;m just new here at your forum. I registered na though i'm not yet a GL owner. My wife and I decided to get a GL after looking at innova and avanza. ayaw nya (at ako din); puro plastic. Anyways, I would like to know if you can suggest a dealer/agent who can give me a good deal. I've only contacted one pa lang (North Edsa) and the SA gave me the following:

P30 K discount
3-yr LTO
Tint (Platinum, full front)
Matting/Seat cover
Early warning device
PMS discount coupon (from 10 thou KMs to 100 thou KMs)

Is this already a good deal??? I asked to include the ipod touch but the SA said the promo period for this already lapsed. Is this true???

hi sir and welcome to LOOP. i think among the owners and members here at LOOP, sir chualie is the one who got the most. ang pinaka-ok na nakuha niyang deal is an extended 5 years warranty and PMS labor until 100kms ata. lets wait for the other members to post here.

in-house financing ka po ba or you have your own bank? pag in-house kasi including the insurance mas malaki kikitain ng dealer and SA mo kaya pwede sila mag-bigay ng madaming freebies. parang binayaran mo na din kasi ito dahil sa mas malaki ang interest rate unlike pag me sarili kang bank. pag me sarili kang bank, mas mababa nga ang interest rate ala ka naman freebies.

since wala na yung promo ng i-touch at GPS, pwede mo sabihin dagdagan na lang ng isa pang remote ung sa susi mo. isa lang kasi ang binibigay ng dealer eh.

@ Sirra- Sir you can view the thread between me and Sir Alnr on Upgrades/ modification under best mags for GL page 1 regarding the inhouse insurance that i availed. Here an update, Last friday i had my 15k pms Free tune up and change oil, cleaning of air filter/vent for ac, checking n tightening of all engine assemblies ( because theres a squiking sound whenever my gl is in low idling) it was gone when I took the car but the next day nandun ulit. Another concern that I brought up with them is the repainting of the scratches on the rear bumper of my GL, When they estimated it sabi nila less than 3k lang aabutin. In that case my inhouse insurance would not accomodate it because 10k is the minimum amount of repair. Sabi ko nga dapat binanga ko na lang para lumaki ang estimate para maging free. Pumayag na din ako they r asking for 2800 for the repaint.

Should you insist on putting into writing all the free items that the agent promised you?
My agent also promised the following which were not reflected in his quotation:

1) Free labor on 1K and 5K PMS
2) Privilege Card
3) backing sensor (sagot nya daw ito personally)

Bale what was included in his quoation were the standard free items (e.g. tint, matting EWD).

Should I take his word on this or should I insist that he list all the above in his quotation?

Here's what I got.

- Ipod
- Mitsuba horn
- umbrella, key chain
- PMS Discount coupon

Initially it comes with backing sensor and luggage tray but I changed it with mitsuba horn, 3 years TPL and white LED dome lights.

My Bank (BPI) gave me 21.34% for 48 months which comes free comprehensive insurance with AOG.

Let me know if this package is ok with you and I will refer you to my agent or even to the bank that gave me the low interest rate.

With regard to the free tint, you should make it clear during the negotiation that the tint in front windshield should be full front. In my case, I did not make myself clear on this freebie. When I informed NGQA of my choice of tint, I was informed that they only install visor tint in front; parang katulad sa Urvan. Not wanting to argue anymore since we needed the car for the family, I just opted to pay na lang - P850.00 po damage.

FYI: To all guests of this forum who are contemplating buying a GL, the free NAVI-GPS with Reverse Camera is a free item directly from NMPI. You should insist on this item; this is not a dealer option. I got this info from the 3rd PIMS. The promo period ends on 30 September 2010.

hmm try to negotiate for 3M tints with full front and a luggage carrier padagdag mo na rin sir yung 3yrs TPL. (these are non-standard items that you may negotiate for)

also kulang yung standard freebies: seat cover + early warning device

@jhun1016, in-house financing po ba or thru bank P.O.? normally kasi pag in-house dun ka makakakuha ng additional freebies pero pag bank P.O. i think you only get the one you posted above. also try to ask other dealers na din. yung color naman, ask your dealer kung ano-ano available na colors. who knows baka me bagong kulay na available. saka kayo po ang mag-decide nun.

My Grand Livina was a cash or PO purchase too. I didn't even get insurance from them.

Sir baka pwede pang ihirit yung net for the luggage compartment. Chk also the floormats kung OEM din meron syang Metal na livina logo and may holes para sa lock to keep it steadily in place.

I think 70k discount is standard for all dealers.
Last Sunday I inquired also in Nissan Westgate Alabang and they also offered me 70k cash discount.
Nagkakatalo lang sila sa mga freebies.

^^ yep, parehas lang lahat ng dealers with the 70k discount. sa NMPI galing ito mismo kaya sa freebies lang sila magkakaiba.

There was a GL display in SM City North Edsa last week. The dealer that hosted the display was Quezon Ave. Nice orange Elegance GL that they featured. They offered a P90k discount that time. FYI lang.
