Can you please post pictures so I can evaluate if the part is restorable or not? Thanks.

Just one question, did you have a carbon fiber look sticker installed in your panel? I think this is not fading but adhesive which got stuck on that particular part. Just try using a water based cleaner to remove it if this is the case.

Regarding the carbon fiber, I had the panel removed when it was installed. That particular panel had a discoloration when I was cleaning it with a wipeout cleaner. I tried to touch up the panel and accidentally painted the red portion of the aircon switch then I removed it by using a rough cloth and a wipeout. That's how it resulted.

I see.... It would be quite difficult to do a touch up while the panel is installed. The solution is either have it claimed as a warranty replacement due to fading of the color or have the panel removed and have a specialist painter experienced in painting letter head signs to do it for you. The color used in interior is water based and likewise not very resistive to chemicals such as wipe out which is solvent based. I would not suggest using these particular cleaners as they could technically do more harm than good. I suggest you use paints used in model kits such as tamiya (cost is about 80-150 pesos) as they adhere better in plastic parts than those which you can find in paint shops.
