GL's speedometer vs GPS reading

Hello Sirs and Madams:

After 2 weeks with my GL(HS), naobserve ko na habang bumibilis, lumalaki yung difference ng speedometer and yung speed reading ng Garmin GPS ko. Kapag 90kph na sa GL speedo on SLEX, 100kph na sa GPS. Tini-treat ko na tama yung GPS.

Nagamit ko na yung GPS na to sa previous car and maliit lang naman ang difference (1-2kph).
Pinagamit ko na rin sa kakilala ko and maliit lang din ang lag daw (1-2kph din).

Gusto ko sana ipa-calibrate yung speedo pag nagpa-1k PMS sa casa although di ko alam pano ipapakita sa kanila na off nga yung speedometer with respect to GPS reading.
What do you think is the best action on the speedo issue?

On a side note, napansin ko rin na sobrang ingay ng cooling fan ng engine (humming sound) rinig sa buong basement parking namin sa condo and rinig din sa loob ng sasakyan. Ganun din ba sa ibang GL?

If you think your GL's speedo is off, then it would be best to have your trusted SA evaluate this. Now my question is what is the size of the tires? I would assume if your tire is size 16'' and speedo was calibrated wearing size 15'' then it would definitely be off by about 10 percent. I think that the GL's speedo is electronic so it can be calibrated.

Now on the fan issue, our GL is a bit noisier than usual as compared to other cars which can be magnified if you're parked in a closed space. It's inherent so little or nothing you can do to reduce the noise. You will adjust to it I can assure you. At least (taking the positive side) when the fan is not working, you will notice it immediately.

the fan does get noisy kapag nag aactivate yug high speed setting niya but bumabalik naman sa low speed after a while. this is to maintain the engine temp and prevent it from overheating. ganyan naman sa lahat ng kotse.

i also have a GPS in my china HU with garmin and so far ok naman yung reading with an average difference of 2-3 kms sa speedo ko. even before na naka stock rims lang ako, ngayon kasi nka 17" na ako and ganun pa din naman.

All stock pa si GL so calibrated dapat ang speedometer nito. Anyway, papa-evaluate ko na lang next week sa PMS. Thanks guys!
