Roro trip postponed indefinitely
Hi Guys.
In one of my previous posts I stated na I would be taking my family for a RoRo trip to North Luzon maybe during this coming summer. I was also hoping that I can EB with some of you (if not all) along the side.
Well, that has to be shelved in the meantime.
Out of the nowhere, the owner of the house I'm renting suddenly offered it for sale at a very friendly price. I grabbed the chance. Out of the bank went all of my savings plus a few loans from friends. That means this year would be a cycle between replenishing bank savings and paying off loans. (That also means no more upgrades for the GL. He he he)
My prospect of an EB has not dimmed though. It only became less visible.

Manila-Batangas port-Calapan, Mindoro-Roxas, Mindoro, Caticlan (lots of garage space in Caticlan for P100/night)
Pahabol: Calapan-Roxas is presently in disrepair. Alternate route is Batangas-Dumagit (New Washington, Aklan) by Roro then overland trip to Caticlan on this route: New Washington-Kalibo-Numancia-Tangalan-Ibajay-Navas-Caticlan (Caticlan is part of the Municipality of Malay, Aklan)

@real_renz:
Not sure ako sir how long the boat trip from Batangas to Dumaguit, New Washington would be. But from Dumaguit port to Caticlan, the overland drive would be about 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours max. Road condition of the entire route is very good.

Re: Roro trip postponed indefinitely
Sir the problem with Calapan-Roxas route is the road, not the pier. Baku2 ang daan from Calapan to Roxas, Mindoro which I heard, was a 2 1/2 hour drive on good road conditions. At least, that's what the tweety boid told me. You might want to check it out yourself, though. The boid has been known to be wrong sometimes.
