steering noise and stabilizer
Heads up guys.
My GL's steering noise made a comeback. Went to Nissan S&J yesterday and was informed that a similar problem in another GL was caused by a defective stabilizer. Nissan people will take a look at it tomorrow. I hope it's the correct diagnosis. My warranty will expire on the 14th of next month.
I'll keep you posted regarding this issue.

Re: steering noise and stabilizer
Steering noise UPDATE:
The steering noise, it turned out, did not come from a defective stabilizer. It was caused by a small slack in the steering coupling (or steering joint, depending on what our respective SA's call it). Mine was tightened a little bit and voila! No more noise.
That probably explains why some of our GLs stopped manifesting the same noise after the steering coupling was replaced. On hindsight, I think there was nothing wrong with the original coupling. It only needed to be tightened a little bit.
