Thanks for this post. Nakaka assure na pwede ang series 50 sa 17" rim. I'm seeing my SA tomorrow to inquire if I'm up for tire replacement. Naka 50k na kasi ako. I'm currently using series 45.

I suppose a set of series 50 tires would give a more comfortable ride than series 45. My present 45 tires are nitrogen-filled, though. The ride is more comfortable than that using conventional air.

Balak ko kasi mag 16inch using 55 series para kasing taas pa din nung reserba, pag nag 17 inch ako which is advisable at mas mura 45 series or 50 series?

Sorry for the late reply sir. Been quite busy lately. FYI, I'm not sure if I still have a file copy of the pictures you'd like to see. I've already sold my GL last February (see my previous posts). Anyway, please note the following:

Walang sasayad na part ng gulong sa body.
No issues as regards handling. Kayang kaya ng electric steering mechanism ng GL ang 215x50x17.
No marked improvement on braking although theoritically, more rubber means more braking power.
Your FC will increase based on your odometer but in real distance, it actually does not. Meaning, your liter/km rate would remain the same. The odometer-based variance is probably the result of lesser tire revolutions per distance travelled.
Riding comfort is enhanced.
A set of 4 Nankang 215x50x17 tires costs around P24k here in Iloilo. The Concept One rim was about P28k a set.

That's a nice looking GL Sir Voltz, Congrats! I like the BBS mags, ano specs ng tires? Sarap mag EB nyan dalawa na ang naka new shoes, yun kay Pres na lang ang d ko pa nakikita, nanahimik si Pres malamang busy sa balikbayan hehe...

Sir chualie 215/45r17 pero cheapest china tires lang. Wanli brand, pero may gumagamit naman sa kasama ko sa race track sa subic, at ok naman feedback nya. Yun westlake na slightly more expensive dami sa mga kasama ang nabukulan na sa kotse nila.

@arnold 29.......17" mags will cost around 19k up, sa 17" tires naman nasa 2.5k up, trade in ng stock GL mags nasa 8k. Just to give you an idea Sir.

just got my shoes today . I tried the 114 by 50 it fits and there is no issues at all .thanks for the ideas guys.
