Roof rails for the Grand Livina

There is an aftermarket roofrail that is made for the Innova, it requires no drill , it is clamp instead on the rails beneath the weather strips. When i checked out if theres a rail underneath our GL's rubber weather strips, meron din sya. So i am assuming na pwedeng lagyan yun GL natin. Although hindi sya kasing haba nung nakalagay sa GL Brazil ed, pwede na din. I saw one GL na naka roofrail na pang innova and i can say na it looks great. Sana lang mag fit, yung GL na nakita ko, butas or adhesive ang ginawa nya sa inner side ng weather strip. So malamang hindi pwede ang clamp installation. I saw an innova, mas malapad ang rails nya for the wthr stips.

VP, san mo nakita ito and any idea kung how much?

Sa cartronics sa del monte ave pres at dun sa isang shop sa banawe corner retiro forgot the name, nasa 2400 ata more or less pres. Hindi ako sure kung pwede e clamp sa GL natin eh pero interesado din ako dto, ang ganda kasi ng dating nun nakita ko sa isang GL pero d sa weather strip naka install sa bubong mismo kaya butas o kaya dikit yun. Meron nga ako nakita na roofrail na mahaba galing sa opel astra 2000 surplus kaya lang mahal pa din benta nasa 5,500 daw.

IMHO, BNB would do.

yung bnb may crossbar lang siya. you can mount any roof rack dun sa crossbar na yun.
yung iba kasi na generic na crossbar walang lock.
bnb thule yakima may mga lock. di mapipitik.

I was in Banawe yesterday and looking for Roof Rails (Generic) yung ididikit lang at hindi bubutasin. I found one and mounted in my GL, I also took pictures. Please remarks on the pictures if bagay ba or hindi. Your remarks will help me to decide kung papakabitan ko or hindi. TIA.

@rak1sta: Sir, the price is 3,500 pesos pero natawaran ko ng 3,000 baka pwede pa nilang ibaba kung papakabitin ko na. Kung gusto nyo pong kabitan ng Roof Box dapat papabutasan ninyo para matibay. Regarding load limit naman po, depende po sa pagkakakabit, siguro kaya nya ang 30 kilos.

by the way. depende pala sa crossbar. yung iba for aesthetic purposes only. di pwedeng kabitan ng kung ano ano yun. kungdi disgrasya aabutin.
yung mga thule kasi super pricey.
bnb kung bike racks lang ang kabit pinaka sulit or you may want to check out yung mga yakima na crossbars and racks. HTH.

nice sir, i like it, baka mag palagay din ako hehe....yan yun sinasabi ko na pang innova na clip on type, meron din palang adhesive type. San store in banawe sir?

@chualie: Sir, hindi ko po nakuha yung name nung store eh, pero I can see in the picture merong nakasulat na ABULUG katabi po nyan.

@djmatt, for clarification lang po. Ito ung pang innova po ba and pag for aesthetic purposes lng nakadikit lang ba ito? If ever na me load, kailangan naka drill for the screws para matibay?

I'm looking for a rail kasi na pwdeng pang load without drilling sana. If only na merong OEM ang GL natin dito mas maganda sana. Kung me drill kasi ito, I might get the BnB instead.

Hindi ko pa po pinakabit. yes sir meron pong butas for screw, actually advise nila pabutasan ko daw para matibay at for future purpose pwede ko ding lagyan ng top load.

Yes sir, ito po yung pang Innova at Avanza yun ang sabi nung sa store. Hindi ko pa po pinakabit pinatong ko lang sa GL ko at kinuhanan ko ng pictures. Pero ang balak ko po ay pang aesthetic lang po kaya didikit lang yung gusto ko, ayaw ko po kasing pabutasan. Pero, kung maglalagay kayo ng load kailangan po talagang naka drill for the screws para matibay.
