Nitrogen
Nag pa nitrogen fill ako sa tires ko today and I can say na talagang better to compared sa regular air. Sa megamotion banawe P75 each tire kasi size 18" up ganun na price, from size 17" down P50 each tire. Sabi nila d daw nababawasan nitro fill up to 6 months.

This is worth considering kasi I am told very significant ang ride comfort as compared to air filled. In addition, nitrogen don't expand when tires are heated as a direct result of long driving. Air has a tendency to expand and at times can be a cause of blowouts due to high temperatures caused by running the tires at high speeds. Twice a month ako nagpapakarga ng air sa gulong ko so if 6 months ang interval for refill sa nitrogen then I think it should be ok. 5 - 10 pesos ang tip ko so around 10-20 pesos per month. Times six lalabas na 60 - 120 pesos in 6 months.

thanks Sir chairman for explaining how it works. Mas naging tahimik at mas naging softer talaga ang ride and mas safer pa.

yep, ok ang nitrogen. i have been using it for 3 years na siguro kahit dun sa old car ko. just to add, hindi din siya mabilis sumingaw lalo na kung napako ang gulong mo. yun nga lang, hindi mo pwede ipag-halo ang nitrogen sa ordinary air (sabi nila).

Re: Nitrogen
pwede naman ipaghalo... just a little knowledge na nahalukay ko from my chemistry college days.
Air is composed of 78% nitrogen and 20% oxygen. Yun natitirang 2% ay Carbon Dioxide, Argon, Methane, Helium, Hydrogen, Ammonia etc etc etc...
so in effect pagpinaghalo mo ang pure nitrogen and regular air, diluted lang and magigng regular air na lang.
now, yun binabarayan nyo lang talaga sa 75pesos is the 22% nitrogen na inalis yun ibang components sa regualr air. coz you can get the 78% for free. hehehe

Re: Nitrogen
We pay P150/tire for nitro.
Btw, I was told na almost pure nitro ang pinapasok sa tires kasi "nitrogen extractor" daw ang machine ng ginagamit. The machine costs around P75k daw.

Just had mine refilled after vulcanizing.

Well minimal only on the noise and vibration pero big difference sa handling, mas gagaang ang steering wheel and mas lalakas ang hatak dahil mas gagaang, and mas mas titipid sa gas. That's just my observation Sir.
Nagtataka nga ako dahil mas magaang pa dalhin ang 18"mags ko na 225/40/18 kesa sa stock tires ko na 205/55/16, turns out na dahil naka nitrogen yun 18" ko, just now pina palitan ko ng nitogen yun size 16" and talagang naramdaman ko yun difference. Sulit, safe, perfomance wise upgrade talaga to. Highly recommended. One more thing, you don't need to re-fill it for 6 to 12 months dahil d sya sumisingaw not like oxygen. Sa Dub unlimited sa west ave. ok dun hitech pa yun nitro refil nila may vacum pa, free pag dun ka bumile ng tires kahit isang piraso lang.

nice naman sir, parang gusto ko na agad magpanitro fill. hehe. gusto ko yung gagaan ang hatak given the fact na ginagawa kong parang race car si GL.haha how much singil nila per tire sa nitro-fill? mura din ba benta nila ng tires? sir natry nyu na din ba magpalagay dynamat for the noises inside the GL?

Re: Nitrogen
Sir I haven't tried that, as for the price sa dub, mura sya compared to the other stores in qc kasi meron syang free nitro and refill nito throughout the tread life ng tires. I don't know kung magkano pa nitrogen sa kanya kasi nga free lang ako dun, you can call them and ask nasa recommended shop and mechanic under ng directory dto sa site natin yun mga tel nos. Ang price naman per tire ng nitrogen is P50 to P100 ang pinaka mahal.

nitrogen in your tire
Just wanna share. Just had my tire filled with nitrogen and the effect/benefit is very noticeable.
Before i was using regular air and my tire pressure was only 28 on all tires (2 adult and 1 kid passenger only ).
Higher than that will result to a bumpy ride especially when passing road strips/potholes. After using nitrogen, all tire pressures
are 35 and the riding comfort is the same as that of 28 using regular air. I tried 28 first but the tire seemed very flat and hugging
the road too much so i had it to 30 then 35. You'll get faster acceleration, lower road noise and the sound is very much different
when you hit a bump or potholes ( buo at malambot ang tunog, hindi bagsak ).
It's tire friendly also because the tire does not heat up, equal air distribution/pressure on entire tire and has less weight also.
