How to use velcro to secure hidden rear cargo cover
I have been experimenting ways to remove rear cargo noise and one of the culprits would be the hidden rear cargo cover since it is not secured by any locking mechanism whatsoever. The noise can be caused when you encounter bumps and humps that can cause the cover to vibrate or thrown upward due to suspension play. I have found an ingenious way to secure it using Scotch velcro fasteners with adhesive to secure it into place. Just follow these steps:
Buy Scotch velcro reclosable fasteners in any handyman or DIY stores for around 180 pesos.
Cut 2 pieces of the locking (fixed) side and secure it 3/4 inches (per side) from the middle marker.
Cut the other 2 pieces that will lock into the first piece at the back of the cover.
Do the same for the 2 opposite sides of the cover. Mark the side marker with tape as a guideline in securing the fasteners which would be fixed (beige color) and the ones to be placed at the back of the cover (dark color).
Place the locking (fixed side) and the opposite mating piece (cover side) of the velcro as shown.
Do the same on the other side and then remove the tape guide for a clean finish.
Place the cover and velcro will secure it in place. This will remove unnecessary movement and noise.
Hope this helps.

Yup, you are right. Anyway, I am happy to report that the velcro worked without problems.
