20K PMS NGOrtigas

Had the 20K PMS (actual odo reading is 17500+ but missed the 15K PMS so combined na lang ginawa ko). 11,356.09 inabot including replacement of front disk pads (4K+ for the whole set), synthetic oil ang ginamit. They didnt insist on synthetic like the last time and they made me choose kung mineral or synth although they strongly advised to use synth kasi yun daw ang recommended ng NMPI. Also had the vents fixed so far wala ng smoke smell. Haven't removed the cover I placed in engine bay to help address the smell before. Will take them out later and see if the vent problem is really solved. Also asked to have the rattling sound sa tailgate fixed. Sabi nila hinigpitan lang yung tailgate siding. So far wala pang rattle but haven't tried it sa mga rumble strips sa kalye. Another thing I asked fixed was the fuel gauge/float. They didnt replace it but they did fix it. Sabi nung Service Advisor inadjust nila yung float. Last week kasi umilaw so nagpa gas ako ng 1k pero after mga P700 nag automatic na. Ngayon medyo consistent na sya sa level and usage ng sasakyan. Lets see sa next pakarga ko ng gas. Last request ko was to have the steering coupling replaced pero hindi nila daw marinig yung kalampag pag full turn so, i observe ko muna. Meron talagang kalampag pag full turn lalo na pag paatras. Pag lumabas uli sa next PMS ko na isabay if needed. So far, ok ang service. Brought the car Tuesday last week and got it Sat although Wed pa lang tapos na lahat except for the steering. Friday AM tapos na tapos na pero got it Sat kasi walang time to pick up. Medyo nag improve ang service and noticed they have booties or socks for the steering, handbrake and shifter. Complaints are hindi naibalik ng tama yung tweeters ko. Sa A pillar kinabit instead nung sa dashboard (kung san ko linagay). Madami ding fingerprints sa mga sidings so had them cleaned pa. Buti na lang walang marks sa ceiling.

Anybody here knows when the ACU needs to be cleaned? Sa Innova kasi 30k nag linis na. Pull down ng mga evaporator (front and rear). Yun nga lang sumabit si Toyota Makati kasi may fingerprints sa ceiling. Meron na ba sa mga loopers na nag pa cleaning na ng ACU? TIA

ung 20K pms ko sa nissan gallery sa quezon ave last weekend inabot lang ng P4,700++.

Medyo mahal nga ang 11k, yung sa akin ay 5k including brake cleaning and tire rotation sa 20k pms ko.

synthetic din ang oil nyo? saka yung disc pads nagpalit na kasi malipis na daw. 2.9mm na lang ang minimum clearance 4mm daw. medyo mabigat paa ko sa gas so mabigat din sa preno. hehehe. marc, na try mo na ba sa westgate? dealer of the year sila for 2010. ang layo lang pero gusto ko i try dun mag pa service sa 25kPMS.

sir tama naman ang pricing. kaya lang medyo cause of concern yung manipis na brakepad at 20k. dapat kasi 40k ang replacement nyan. also, the engine flushing could have been dispensed with. a longer oil dripping time would have sufficed. di ba your GL stayed in the casa for several days? that would have been a more than sufficient time to let the oil completely drip out.

I'll try sa 25k pms ko sa Westgate. Malapit lang naman sa amin. Kailangan na talagang mag try ng ibang casa para ma compare ang service nila.

yes sir, dapat nga wala ng flushing but inuna nila gawin yung PMS before the warranty claims baka kaya nag flush sila. yun sa disc pads, may kabigatan talaga paa ko sa gas and sa brake kasi lagi akong nagmamadali to get from point a to b. hehehe. nakita ko na din yun old disc pads, medyo malipis na. di na talaga aabot sa next PMS.

ha ha ha. that figures. meron nga talaga na mabigat ang paa sir. may suggest that in full stop traffic shift your trans knob immediately to neutral or park. that should mitigate the pressure on the brakes.

hmmm NGO did my 1K / 5K / 10K pms. im skipping the 15K too since synthetic oil naman ang gamit ko ever since. parang ayaw ko tuloy magpagawa ng 20K PMS sa kanila. sa mantrade nalang kaya hehehe.

@ steelpulse - i do that, kaya lang hataw mode ako lagi kasi laging nagmamadali. i think si eggy_reyes has seen me drive 2x na. hehehe

Will be taking my GL to Nissan MAntrade for my 20K PMS. Actually NGO is nearer my place but I want to keep the relationship with my original dealer, Mantrade.

Guys, scheduled ako for 20k pms tomorrow sa mantrade and they gave me an estimate of around 9k for the pms including labor charges amounting to 3.3k . Anyway my question is required na ba talaga palitan ang sparkplugs ng GL natin during 20k PMS? I saw chualies 20k PMS thread and he changed his sparkplugs during that pero sa thread na ito wala naman ako napansin na nagpapalit na. Sana may sumagot thanks.

Sir yun akin kasi free yun tune up/ change oil ko until 20k pms kasama sa package ko when i purchase my GL, kaya pina available ko na sa kanila on my last free PMS.

yan nga sasabihin ko sa SA bukas. Nakakatakot din kasi ipagalaw agad yung sparkplug kasi madami tatangalin sa makina para mapalitan yun.

I also have my PMS at mantrade. I have inquired about the sparkplug change, and was told to have it on my 40K. So I didn't.

any suggested shops other than nissan who can do credible PMS every 5/10K? Casa is too expensive. Are shell, petron and good year servitek centers ok?

Unfortunately the best people who can perform maintenance checks and servicing of your GL will still be from Casa as they have ample training and equipment to do these and will provide warranties for their work. If you would choose to have it done by another service center, you risk voiding your GL's warranty which will be very problematic and expensive if you encounter problems with it later on. If casa service is too expensive for you, raise this with your SA and ask if they will be offering promos or have customer discounts for parts and service so you can avail of it in the future.

kapag kasing dami na siguro ng innova ang grand livina safe na mag pa pms sa labas.

nung 20k pms ko wala pa 5k petot binayaran ko, may libre akong labor tapos 10% discount sa parts. parang automatic na sa SA maglagay ng discount.

More than 20K na si GL ko, need PMS anytime available. But before I decide where it will be done, nag-ask ako ng estimated cost nila for 20K PMS. My original Dealer is Mantrade and they gave me 9,300 pesos. And I also, asked Nissan North Edsa for their pricing and I've got 5,454 with 15% discount on parts and 10% discount on Labor. I returned to Nissan Mantrade and ask them why their price is higher than North Edsa? I received a confident answer that their works are complete and without omitting crucial steps daw. Meron bang ganung casa na para pumunta ka sa kanila dahil mura compare sa iba is babawasan nila yung trabaho at hindi gagawin yung nararapat para sa PMS? Medyo nalito tuloy ako kung saan ko ipapa-PMS si GL. Yung 3,846 pesos na difference ay medyo malaki din talaga.

Normally naman mas mahal ang estimate ng casa compared sa actual na babayaran mo. Hingi ka ng breakdown kasi 20kPMS ko sa mantrade nasa 5k lang din binayaran ko kasi kasama sa quote nila yung sparkplug pero nung pumunta ako for PMS sabi ng SA di daw need yun sa 40k pa dapat gawin.

@DJ.. natawa naman ako doon. hindi ba standard lahat ang gawa ng CASA dapat? hehehe
