head unit rattles

mga sir ano ba magandang gawin o ilagay sa nagrarattle na head unit para tumahimik? my head unit is an AVT yung sa road master edition.

sobrang higpit sir eh. rattle pa din sya. yung sa upper frame kasi tumatama ata sa tray ng cd kaya pag kumakaldag tunog lata na nagvvibrate.

Could be a wiring harness not properly secured hitting the casing of the head unit. Have your dealer check it out and fixed. Another cause of the noise is your dash lighter. Oftentimes, it becomes loose when you install an aftermarket charger unit which is slightly larger in diameter of lighter cast casing.

i also have rattles on my headunit, pero different brand. napansin ko yung rattles is coming from the LCD mismo. so kung yung LCD mo is motorized, most likely dun galing din yung rattles.

skin bro, yung cd tray tumatama sa casing nya na metal. tingin ko dapat lagyan ng antivibration na tape or material yung kinakabitan ng head unit.

Pa tingnan nyo agad sa casa.. might be sa internal parts na ng cd tray yan, .i check my avt ( road master din - thanks for mr. Chualie's post on how to remove the cover ng AVT natin), maganda naman ang pagkasalansang ng mga cables at naka secure pa ito ng sheet cover with velcro to avoid cable/wire lossening.. possible din sir na baka naman di natangal yun securing screw sa ibabaw ng AVT natin to protect the CD tray..just guessing lang..kasi when i check my AVT, there's an instruction on top of the unit about this small screw..na "need to be remove before CD tray can be operated".. baka naman di natangal or naiwan yun screw during installation ng AVT sa unit nyo.. better to ask casa to check it..

sir okay naman mga wires eh inayus ko pa. then dun naman sa screws, nakaremoved naman. The unit is working well naman pati yung CDplayer. may ingay lang talaga pag bumpy ang road. balak ko nga sa AVT ko na mismo dadalhin e para sigurado. Sir pwede po ba makita pic nung pagkakabit ng head unit nyu? baka lang kasi may ndi nakabit sakin nung pina-warranty ko to. thanks
