Kamusta ang GL nyo?

Nacorrect na po ba yung mga usual complaints ng owners ng mga naunang batch? Id like to hear some more feedback especially dun sa mga recent owners mga 1 year or less pa lang. Medyo tahimik na tong forum and wala ng follow up dun sa thread na "Is it just me". Feeling nyo pa din ba na hindi ganun kasolid yung quality ng livina?

i have a 3wk old livina. same complaint on smoke/vent issue and initial adjustment on flapper did not help. i am scheduled for 1k PMS this sat, and i will ask for cable adjustment, hope it helps. else, i will follow the last resort of covering the air intake.

so far, handling and built "seems" solid. the only thing i don't like is the poor workmanship of nissan like the floor carpet have some gaps especially under the glove compartment. i have the mid variant and the stereo and speaker sox, talo pa ng mumurahing cars.

nissan dealer ko is carmona/southwoods - madali kausap pero daming rework lalo na sa accessories from their inhouse supplier. yung alarm na-disable ang powerlock at ang tint may mga bubbles and folds. sabi pa ang bubbles daw mawawala in due time.

medyo di naman nakakapang-sisi ang experience ko so far and i hope it stays that way. medyo mataas lang expectation ko coming from a 2002 top-of-the-line civic. pero natutuwa na rin ako sa twing may makikisakay at di kami nagsisiksikan, as well as paghaul ng mga bagay bagay na di problema ang pagdala

My GL is reaching its 3rd year and from my experience it is really a good buy. The built quality in my opinion will rival the competition it is pitted against with. The way it handles is above average especially when trashing it in long freeways. Mabilis and stable sa high speed and it corners very well too. Fuel economy has exceeded my expectations which averages between 9-11 km per liter in the city and the highest so far is 24 km per liter when I drove my GL round trip from Manila to Apalit and back. My Baguio trip was around 17-20 Km per liter. The flexibility of storage is very nifty and useful especially when you need to haul a lot of stuff from point a to b. The seats will fold flat with minimal effort to execute. Aircon is strong and no need to really add an additional blower to make your 2nd or even 3rd row passengers cool. Sound system is above average but you can upgrade it to aftermarkets if you want something more...so its flexible. Maintenance is like maintaining a car so you need not break an arm or a leg to pay for it. The best thing about the GL is that you get a lot of attention wherever you go since it is not common and its not even difficult to park in a huge parking lot.

Of course all is is not perfect with this car. It had its set of problems. The air vent issue and steering coupling was rectified by my GL's service center, Nissan Shaw. They handled it without giving me a headache and that is what owning a car is all about, the after sales service and support you get during the warranty period from the manufacturer. Even if I had to go back twice to get the air vent issue, I patiently awaited a long term solution for it and the patience paid off. Now the car is running like clockwork, no issues and I can concentrate more on why I bought it in the first place, to haul stuff and get my family from point a to b.

This being said, I can say I am a very satisfied GL owner.

+1 ako dito, i'm very satisfied with my GL (elite M/T). power (6 speed), space (can seat 7) and comfort (drives like a sedan).

wala naman perfect na sasakyan, lahat yan me mga flaws din. me fix naman lahat ng common problems ng GL and we do hope na maayos na ng NMPI sa mga brand new units para hindi na ito maging problem ng new owners.

btw, mine is reaching two years this october.

My GL turned 3 years old last July 14, 2011. To say that my dealership, Nissan S&J is very supportive is probably an understatement. Makes me feel that my unit is on a lifetime warranty. He he he....

agree ako lalo na sa handling since araw araw ako pabalik balik sa zigzag ng carmona cavite mas maganda pa nga sya sa ibang kotse. overall, i'm liking it more and more lalo na with a growing kid/family.

it is also good to have this forum since i feel i am not alone pag may kaunting problema ang livina..

Ako yung nagreklamo sa pagiging solid ng GL. Kaya ako nagcomplaint na hindi solid dahil sa steering wheel mismo yung problema ( re: vibration at tunog na wala naman nung bago si GL ).

Pero tulad ng mga kasama ko sa loopers, I agree na wala naman perfect na sasakyan. If you will ask me today kung sulit si GL, affirmative sagot ko. Mas madami syang pros vs cons. Napakamura imaintain at satisfied naman ako sa warranty claims ( 2x busted shocks ).

Handling and acceleration is superb. Although problema ko pa rin vibration sa steering wheel. Di pa nasolusyunan ng Nissan Santiago.

Ang experience ko sa 1 week old na GL namin is super ok talagang parang kotse lang idrive and mas manipis pa siya sa luma naming sentra kaya mas madali magpark. Yung mga issues gaya ng pumapasok na usok sa loob sadly is still happening to think since 2008 pa may mga reklamo na duon at hanggang ngayon wala pa rin silang ginagawang corrective action sa planta. Isa pa medyo matagtag yung recommended na 35psi sa gulong ng sasakyan natin.

just came back from a long drive from cavite, to alaminos, manaoag pangasinan, to baguio and back... fully loaded kami, 7 all in all, although 3 ay bata.. meron din kargang gamit sa natirang space sa likod... wala akong reklamo... tinatakbo ko ng 110-120 on the average sa nlex at sctex at wala akong kaba sa feel ng livina... kahit sa mga winding roads ng baguio, pataas at even sa pababa solid pa rin... ok ang brakes, at kahit nag engine break ako sa 2nd gear sa steep downward slope, di ko naramdaman ano mang problema... in short, very satisfied ako sa long drive namin with regards to livina's quality...

i agree with the smoke issue, kala namin na resolve na yung issue pero until now meron pa din. as for the tire pressure, what i did was i used nitrogen and then 32psi naman. kahit papano nabawasan yung tagtag

Hello mga ka GL.
Kwento ko lang last holy week inuwi namin sa Marinduque yung GL namin. 11 kami sakay plus mga bagahe. Of the 11 sakay 2 dun ay 1 year olds, 7 adults at 2 kids 8 and 11 years old. Di ko rin alam kung papaano kami nagkasya pero kasya e. Ok naman ang driving very stable pa rin yun nga lang medyo malaks na sa gas kasi mabigat na ang karga. Naawa ako nung makabalik na kami sa manila kasi pagkatapos ko mag pa carwash dun na naging evident yung mga gasgas. Grabe ang dami parang namolestiya ng todo si GL kaya yun isang buong araw ang inilaan ko kahapon para idetail ulit siya at awa ng diyos maganda, makintab at mabango nanaman siya. Oo nga pala may yupi yung dulo ng tambutso ko kasi sumabit sa rampa ng roro medyo mababa kasi GL natin.

Sir Aln, Yung mga maliliit na bagay at shoes nasa ibabang compartment tapos tatlong malalaking bags naman ang nakalagay sa likod na lalagyan. Konting creativity lang ang kailangan napagkasya din mga gamit.

Pagdating namin sa Marinduque nagtataka mga tao dun kung papaano kami kumasya sa sasakyan, sabi nung isa kong uncle mas madami pa daw kayang isakay sa GL kesa sa Fortuner nila.

Naisip ko din ang roof rack e kaso sabi nung ka officemate ko na naka xtrail laki daw ng dagdag sa consumo ng gas yung roof rack niya kahit walang laman.
