Buying a 2nd hand Grand Livina

I created an account just to do a little research before buying a 2nd hand car. On my shortlist is Grand Livina and my budget is around 300 to 400k depending on the cash i can generate within the next 6 months.

Sana po ma share nyo naman experience nyo from owning this car.

Background: Currently owned a banged up 96 nissan sentra, i was hoping to sell it at least 80k for added funds. Our family is growing with 2 kids already age 3 and 1. Di na uubra ang binata car ko and sobrang dami nang sakit. my main consideration in buying a new car is:

1. Selling price is not as expensive - within the budget of 300 to 400k
2. Size - comfortable sana for a family of 4 plus 2 yaya and stroller sa likod
3. Availability nang 2nd hand or aftermarket spare parts na di naman taga sa presyo
4. durability nang sasakyan and safety
5. Comfort and ride

Ano po ba dapat ko bantayan kung bibili ako nang 2nd hand grand livina, ano po ba usual na sakit nang sasakyan na to. Anything i need to look at bago makipag deal sa owner? Least of my consideration is Fuel Efficieny and Resale value. weekend car lang naman po kasi kaylngan namin and malapit lang work ko from home.

Pasalamat na po ako sa kung sino man makapag share.

Issues: pumapasok na amoy ng usok galing sa labas, tok sound while turning.
Pero syempre kung bibili ng 2nd hand na kotse tingnan mo mabuti kung may tagas makina at transmission, test drive kung ok ang shifting and di ag ooverheat at kung ok ang aircon.
if your budget is 300-400k you can get yung mga around 2008 na model.

generic issue ba yung pumapasok amoy? ano solution dun? tok sounds ano naman poblema sa pang ilalim? Salamat sir sa reply ah. abang abang nalang tlga ako baka naman may may comment kayo dito sa dalawang kita ko:

2010 model Matic leather seats pero non casa maintenance lang, and non direct owner. Reseller lang - 7k lower sa price
2009 (dec 2009) matic non leather casa maintained first owner - 7k higher sa price

ano po pipiliin nyo?

Mahirap mag comment kapag di nakita sa personal and nainspect mabuti.
I suggest test drive both vehicles para malaman mo mabuti ang condition. Balewala ang casa maintained kung balahura naman gumamit ang may ari and madedetermine mo yun kapag natest drive mo na.
- Check the quality of shifting, including the shifter if there is noticeable play.
- Roughness of engine during idle.
- Check under the carpet if there are signs the unit was flooded.
- Condition of the engine and transmission oil. When buying a 2nd hand A/T car I'm very particular with this.
- Check if there are noises when turning.
- Check if there are visual indicators for possible oil leak.

Do these then decide which is better.
