What brand of tires do you prefer for your GL?
Mga Sir, base on your experience which tire would you recommend for our beloved GL
1. DunLop
2. Yokohama
3. Bridgestone
4. Nangkang
5. Westlake
Please consider practicallty, safety, price and looks for your choice.
Thanks in advance for your opinion.

Re: What brand of tires do you prefer for your GL?
So far, i am happy and confident sa stock tires nakakabit sa GL when we got it. Its Bridgestone B250 185/65 R15 88H. Its not a high performance tire, but for normal load and driving condition and proper inflation, it gives my GL a balance of comfort, performance and practicallity (mukhang matagal mapudpod). Our GL is 1 year and 2 months now at almost 17,000 kilometers. So far, i had a my rear right tire punctured twice by a nail one time and a screw at another time, i had it patched and ginawa ko na lang syang spare. I think any other tire cannot stand being punctured by a sharp object.
If ever magpalit ako ng gulong, it is most likely i will get the same brand and model. nag inquire ako nasa 4k/pc ito. But, i might consider other options, tulad ng sinabi ko, di naman kse high performance itong B250 na oem sa GL ko. Napansin ko lang at speeds of 80kph on a wet road/medium downpour, medyo bumibitaw na sya ng kapit at medyo ramdam mo na mag hydroplane ng konti. So i might also consider other high performance tire from Bridgestone, Continental, Yokohama and Dunlop in that order. As for Goodyear, napansin ko lang kasi, malambot ang sidewall ng Goodyear tires based from experience so bouncy sya at nung from our old car, sumabit lang sa gutter yung rubber sidewall eh ukit agad sa goma, kaya katakot.
my tire pressure on my B250 all year round is:
Front: 35psi
Rear: 40 psi
although according sa chart sa door, 35psi on all four if passenger (including driver) is up to 3 / 35psi front and 44psi rear if passenger is up to 4 to 7.
I keep mine 35 front and 40 rear, in that way, i am prepared to take in any number of passengers when called for, syempre, you will never know. and i am not in favor of inflating my tire to the maximum of 44psi, katakot at baka mag blow-up yung tire due to over inflation.

Mga sirs:
Experience ko with the following tires are:
1. Dunlop - Least driving noise but thins out fast on long drives (I used this tire on my Vios: 195x55x15); Ideal for short and continuous daily drives.
2. Yokohama & Bridgestone - Both are made by Bridgestone Tire Company; Medyo maingay sa biyahe but really durable (I used Bridgstone on my Corolla 185x60x14; Yokohama on my vios, 195x55x15; GL stock tire is Yokohama 185x60x15)
3. Goodyear - Tire merchants in Iloilo seem to agree that Goodyear was the best brand until it closed its Philippine plant.
4. Nankang - My present tire is Nankang 205x45x17 which was installed when my odometer registered around 10,000 kms. As of today, I have traveled about 54,000 kms and my suki tire supplier told me na pwede pa ang tires ko for another 10-15,000 kms.
