Installing after market AC knobs

Before removing the knob, clean using a mild soap or any cleaner agent to remove oil. Set the knob indicator setting to the 12 o clock position before removing.



Use a chamois or any leather type material to protect the old knob when you pull it using a pliers. Make sure that you grip the plies firmly and remove it slowly. Here's a photo when the knobs are removed.





Insert the knobs without locking it. Lock it when you are satisfied with the fit as well as alignment.

for me what i did is i just pulled th old AC knobs with my fingers. im afraid to use the pliers because i might scratch the old knobs and the console..
