Me. Yes sometimes I experience that. Noticed only when I am parked slightly inclined.

Pareho kami ng experience ni Sir yoogix. Pagka inclined yung harap mahirap tanggalin sa "Park".

If it's hard to shift from park to reverse and you park at an angle on hill and you don't set the parking brake, then it'll be somewhat hard to get the car out of park. This is because you're taking off the transmission parking pawl (which locks the automatic tranny) with a degree of force when normally the brakes on the car should hold the car in place. My opinion is to set the hand break before putting the automatic shift to park.

Tama po ito. Ako ang normal practice ko when parking on an inclined road is to press on the brakes, put the gear in neutral, then engage the handbrake, release my feet from the brakes, if the car does not move anymore then that's the time I put the shifter to the "Park" position.
I learned this the hard way dun sa unang kotse namin the gear won't move to any other position. I had to ask somebody to push the car slightly para matanggal yung parking prawl.

Have you tried the practice above? When do you experience the hard shifting?

If that's the case it might be a failing solenoid. Maybe it's not completely being unlocked during shifting. On a side note do you completely depress the solenoid unlock button during shifting?

Re: Gear - Park to Drive "Hard Shift"
Yes I do completely depress the unlock button on our Gear. So what I does is I forced the gear with holding the unlock button to Drive or Neutral and then there a sound like "dagg". I already email to info@nissan.com.ph, I hope they will call me to address my problem.

Ibig sabihin intermittent yung problem mo? firmly step on the brakes tapos fully press the side button lang naman ang sistema sa operation niya e. Mukhang electrical ng shifter may problema.

Re: Gear - Park to Drive "Hard Shift"
updates regarding this issue..
hard shifting during parking...
CASA already replace the transmission handle assembly .. but still the problem of hard shifting exist intermittently.
SA demonstrate that during parking, a slight motion of the car after we shift the handle to Park position will tend to cause this hard shifting.. so they said that it is normal.

Sir, when you stop the car shift to neutral then engage the handbrakes first before shifting to park. This may help you a bit.

Re: Gear - Park to Drive "Hard Shift"
Sir, I think it may help.. kasi ma prevent ang pag move ng GL before I shift sa Park mode.. I will try that and will keep updates here.
