ilang taon ba bago magpalit ng battery?

may motolite battery went dead after 13 months, pinalitan within the day because of warranty ( continous until 21 months). Check up kung grounded d naman, factory defect daw kaya ok na c GL. May effect kaya sa battery life kung madaming accessories ang nakakabit sa GL? Opinion pls mga sir.

sir yung dagdag na load ng accessories syempre may effect yan pero as long as your battery gets charged again by your alternator walang problema dapat! magkakaproblema lang if di na nagcharge yung battery kasi bad connection, sirang alternator or defective battery. in your case motolite has proven (after tests) that the battery is defective, same as mine before. dalawa yung tests na ginawa sakin before, yung water test.. yung may floater and yung isa naman they will determine which cell is defective. defective cell is umuusok or kumukulo yung water.

i though am having second thoughts na sa particular model ng motolite forour grand livina. unang-una yung availability nya is questionable dahil thin post sya. pano nalang kung sa probinsya or anywhere out of town ka nasiraan ng battery, for sure walang ganyan dun. pangalawa, it seems prone to defects etong motolite model na ito.... as proven by this thread.

That's true sir, but if we change that thin post to a regular one Nissan will void the warranty. Natanong ko na to sa dealer ko and I'm dissapointed nga sa reply nila.

meron bang ibang brand aside sa motolite na thin post? will they void the warranty?

naexperience ko din yan yung stock battery na kasama ng GL ko from the plant bumigay after 3 months then pinalitan ng nissan north edsa ng bago then it went dead again after 3 months. After that they check the charging system etc. they found out battery defect talaga so they decided to install a new batt. ayun till now umaandar pa din at malakas ang batt na huling nilagay nila. almost more than 6 months na din sana tumagal pa.

curious lang po, sa mga nagpalit na ng battery, hindi po ba nagreset ang odometer reading ni gl nyo nung i disconnect sa battery? thanks.

hindi po sir magrereset ang odometer. One thing na laging nawawala everytime na didisconnect yun battery eh yun automatic window close sa driver side, pero after a while and several use babalik din.

Agree ako dito. However you can reset the express feature ng power window by pressing the power window and set the window to the lowest level then pull the button to raise the window and once it is already in the highest level, don't let go of the button for 3-5 seconds. This will re-activate the feature again.

Un din ang naging worry ko nung nagpalit na ako ng bagong battery. kaya ang ginawa ng nag-deliver ng battery pinaandarmuna si GL bago pinalitan ang battery

stock battery pa rin gamit ng GL ko, so far 1 click pa rin. 3 years na sya this coming June. Yun nga lang every other month lang nagagamit pag nakabakasyon ako and weekly warm-up lang pag wala ako.

My Battery broke down yesterday, mag 3 years na sya this coming August 30.. Di pa umabot sa 3 yrs

It might be but not necessarily sir. Baka kasi may tubig lang na naka pasok sa busina mo.

@ steel... yeah, it happens din nga. oh btw, nag palit na din pala ako ng battery 2 months ago courtesy of motolite delivey. mine was delivered at our house around 12mn na. price is around 4k ata.

Tanong ko lang po kung ano yung cause ng white deposits dun sa may battery terminal. napapansin ko din kasi sa GL ko.

It could be a leak in your battery which is causing copper cable in that particular terminal to corrode. Have the battery and your charging system inspected. Clean it using a mixture of baking soda and water and rinse afterwards with plain water. Don't touch the powder as it is highly acidic.

Had it delivered din by motolite express delivery.

Php 5100 smthn price minus the Php 350 for the trade in of the old battery
Php 4783 pesos total price

kaya pala early morning yesterday parang iba ang tunog ng redondo upon ignition lol observe ko muna then diretso cartimar to buy bike stuffs,
pagsakay ko and pag start ayun ayaw na lol

PS : almost 1yr and 6 months tinagal ng old battery

Bought my GL on June 2008. Until now stock battery pa rin, every other month ko lang kasi nagagamit pag bakasyon and warm-up lang ni misis once a week pag wala ako but I plan to replace it next month paguwi ko. Mahal pala ng bagong battery

Battery of my GL bought Jan 2009 lasted only for 21mos,,, warranty was for 20 mos...

I will try to attend the next EB on Nov. Hibernate mode lang ako for more than a year due to travel ban to Yemen, di ako nakabaksyon sa pinas during the ban period. Ngayon back to normal na.

After 33 months palit na ulit ako ng battery. P5,100 na ngayon sa Motolite delivery.

After 57 months I replaced my GL's stock battery few hours ago by Motolite delivery. 5,100 pesos less 335 pesos for my old battery. Buti na lang dito sa bahay inabot, ayaw ng mag-start sabi ni misis so pagkarating tawag agad sa Motolite.
