shock. absorber

Good day mga sir I got the feeling livin a shock absorber is already due fish tale and kalampog sa mga lubak parang ang tihgas ng bagsak almost two years lang do you think that nissan mantrade will replace the shock absorber it is not like my toyota after 7 years just change the two front shock absorber.

I would suggest you go to Mantrade or any Nissan dealer to check out your shock absorbers. As it is still within the 3 year warranty period, there is a high probability that it will be replaced.

If close kayo ng SA mo sa Mantrade malaki ang chances. For my case kasi lagpas three years na yung GL ko nung nagka-problema ako sa two rear shocks ko, nagka-leak. nung una ayaw nila palitan which they said na part daw ng wear and tear. pero i insisted na palitan nila, so pinagawan lang nila ako ng letter to support my claim then ayun pinalitan din nila.

I will try to go when they resume it is really hard specially when nalulubak , I checked the shocks I don't see anything leaking but I am sure that it is the shocks that I am feeling. But thanks for the replies I will keep up to date.

i've been in nissan mantrade yesterday to have the gl check but unfortunately there was a tremendous line after christmas, I waited in line because I would like to talk to my s..a. and told me that gl have a hard suspension thats why the sound is like that when nalubak or just uneven road but I will ask for second opinion in other shops.

Try checking the tire inflation. I used to set it at 35psi and ride was a bit jittery but now I lowered it to just 31psi and the ride is just great. Keep me posted if this would help.

thanks for the reply sir I already lowered the air to 29 but still it is like the jeepney pampasada I will try to check with the shop nearby tomorrow.

musta na sir? sobra pa din ba tagtag? kasi like Chairman said, bawas PSI lang sa gulong malaki na difference sa ride eh. kung sira kasi shock absorber ang most likely effect nito is "maalon" ang ride.

mga sir merong leak ang left side na shock absorber kaya lang iorder pa daw nila. sa nissan dasmarinas ako nag pa 25k pinasama ko na rin ang shocks kasama daw sa warranty kala ko d kasama sa warranty.

si mang paeng. dito na lang ako sa dasma nissan. malapit lang sa amin.

What would be good or better options when it comes to our stock shocks? I'm also past my 3 years and warranty and your inputs would be most helpful. TIA!

hmm, bat kaya ganun? parang ang bilis mag-leak ng mga shock absorbers natin. ako after two years nagka-leak yung dalawang rear ko. nung una ayaw ipasok sa warranty ng dealer ko kaya pinagawan pa ako ng letter to justify my claim. parang ang bilis mag leak considering na brand new yung auto at hindi naman laging puno.

@arnold29, try to ask kung pwede mo nang isama pati yung kabila na shocks para sabay na bago at pantay

@arnold29, try to ask kung pwede mo nang isama pati yung kabila na shocks para sabay na bago at pantay

okay naman ang gas type napalitan ko na rin kasi ang sa toyota namin zeon ang brand d naman siya matagtag front shocks ang pinalitan.meron na siyang leak pero wala pa ang alon nagamit ko pa nga siya sa ilocos last week with full capacity.

Problema ko rin po itong leaking shock absorber. Bale po sa rear left side ang nag-leak kasi I checked it. Bigla na lang may kumakalampag sa likuran pag medyo malubak pero wala naman sound pag nasa nlex.

Gusto ko lang po malaman how old were your rides when your shocks leaked and what was the odo reading. I am asking po kasi mejo mataas na odo ko (79 thou plus, bulacan-manila-bulacan everyday) pero pasok pa din po sa 3-year warranty (expiring August 30 2013). I am thinking of my possible reply/ies in case the SA says that its not covered by warranty due to wear and tear.

for those whose shocks were replaced under warranty, may I know the dealership so that I can inform my SA. Sa Nissan UN po ako regular PMS.

mine was around 2+ years when my two rear shock absorbers leaked and odo reading ko mga 30K+ siguro. nung una ayaw i-cover sa waraanty kasi part daw ng wear and tear yung shocks. my dealer is Nissan Shaw. i insisted na mapapalitan since 2 years pa lang yung oto. pero sa case mo sir mataas na odo reading mo so most likely hindi na covered ng warranty yan sir. meron na nagpalit ng rear shocks dito na hindi na covered, KYB ata ang pinalit niya.

however, will still try to have it covered by warranty. pinagtataka ko kasi sir is yung dati ko sasakyan (malinta auction nissan van) took more than 3 years (3 years 5 months, to be exact) before bumigay yung 1 shock absorber nya.

same route din naman dinadaanan ko ever since, mas malubak pa nga daanan dati kesa ngayon. mas mataas pa sa 79thou yun tinakbo nun tapos etong sasakyan na mas moderno at mas bago mga parts mas nauna pa bumigay.
